The 47th Beach to Bay Relay Marathon was a Success! The Beach to Bay marathon, a longstanding tradition in the Coastal Bend since 1976, covers a distance of 26.2 miles. Although it faced a few cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the marathon celebrated its 47th event on May 18, 2024. The race attracted around 8,000 participants from across the nation, featuring both individual runners and relay teams of two or six people. Bay Ltd. had two teams of six people successfully run the race. Alma Rodriguez, Executive Administrator for Bay Ltd., successfully coordinated this event. She has done so for the past few years.
